Din Merican reported in his blog about this rude and arrogant Oxfart pretender who thinks he can just step into Permatang Pauh, Anwar’s hometown and declare “We’ve come to ‘bury’ Anwar”.
What audacity and insolence!!!
With all the Oxford education, he just can’t get it that Anwar is a true son of Permatang Pauh and the folks there are totally pissed off with this insolent greenhorn.
According to Din, without any inkling of strong popular sentiments on the ground for Anwar Ibrahim, as reflected in the number of Permatang Pauhans who turned up each night since August 16, 2008 by the thousands at his ceramahs, KJ arrogantly announced that he had come to bury the political career of the de facto PKR leader cum prime mover of Pakatan Rakyat. This is sheer arrogance of a brash young man with an inflated view of himself.
KJ had no clues whatsover about the state of politics in Permatang Pauh and how angry people here are about corruption and incompetency under the Barisan Nasional Administration led by Koh Tsu Khoon and greed of local UMNO mafias.
With UMNO has going for it today is its loads of money (cash). With that, UMNO believes they can buy voters and officials. But that is not sufficient to “bury Anwar”, who together with his wife Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has been serving the people here since 1982.
Looks like these smart asses never learned the lesson of March 28 where this exact arrogance caused UMNO/BN’s total downfall.
The only way we can ‘bury’ arrogant and insolent primates like KJ is for the people of Permatang Pauh to give Anwar a resounding victory come August 26 and set him on the road to Putrajaya.
I feel it’s very important to give Anwar a big majority and our full support to our future prime minister. A big majority will indicate that the rakyat are giving an overwhelming mandate for Anwar to form a new government. We’ll than see BN will fall like tenpins and corrupt, racists primates will all be ‘buried’.
I do humbly appeal to every voter, every anak bangsa Malaysia in Permatang Pauh to give that mandate to Anwar.
